PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

This web site is operated by CGB Enterprises, Inc . (“CGB,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). CGB is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the CGB website (the “Site”) and governs data collection and usage. It describes the types of personal information we collect on the Site and how we may use that information. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this Statement.

Collection of Your Personal Information

CGB collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address, or telephone number. CGB also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests, and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by CGB. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. CGB uses this information to operate the service, maintain quality of the service, and provide general statistics regarding use of the Site.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through CGB public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Note: CGB does not read any of your private online communications.

Links to Other Sites

Occasionally we provide links to other websites for your convenience and information. These websites operate independently from our Site and are not under our control. These sites may have their own privacy notices or terms of use, which we strongly suggest you review if you visit any linked websites. We are not responsible for the content of these sites, any products or services offered through them, or any other use of the linked sites.

Use of Your Personal Information

CGB collects and uses your personal information to operate the Site and deliver the services you have requested. CGB also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from CGB and its affiliates. CGB may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

CGB does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose to third parties the personal information visitors submit through our Site except as set forth herein. CGB may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (email, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, CGB may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to CGB, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

CGB does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent. CGB keeps track of the websites and pages our customers visit within CGB in order to determine which CGB services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within CGB to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

CGB will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on CGB or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of CGB; and (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of CGB or the public.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not rent personal information, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without providing notice and, where required, choice.

Personal Information We Collect by Automated Means

We collect certain information by automated means when you visit our Site, such as how many users visited our Site and the pages accessed. By collecting this information, we learn how to best tailor the Site to our visitors. We collect this information through various means such as cookies, web beacons, and IP addresses, as explained below.

Google Maps

This Site uses Google’s Maps API to provide address search and location-related features (for example, to help you locate facilities, search or verify addresses, and display maps). When you use these features, certain information–such as the address or search terms you enter, your device’s IP address, and, if you enable it, your device’s location–may be processed by Google to deliver the mapping and address-search functionality.

Your use of Google Maps features is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, available at https://www.google.com/help/terms_maps/. Google’s collection and use of information through the Maps API is governed by Google’s own policies, and CGB Enterprises, Inc. is not responsible for Google’s data practices. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy to understand how Google collects, uses, and shares your information.

To the extent you provide address or location information through these features, CGB uses that information solely to deliver the requested functionality (such as address searching and mapping) and otherwise in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Your Cookie Preferences

What Cookies Are

Like many companies, some of our sites use “cookies.” Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit certain websites. Cookies may tell us, for example, whether you have visited us before or are a new visitor, and help us identify site features in which you may have the greatest interest. Cookies may also enhance your online experience by saving your preferences while you visit a particular site.

Categories of Cookies We Use

We and our service providers may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

Strictly Necessary Cookies – essential for the Site to function properly, including for security, network management, and accessibility. These cannot be switched off in our systems.

Performance / Analytics Cookies – help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting information such as pages visited, time spent, and errors encountered, so we can improve performance and content.

Functional / Preference Cookies – remember choices you make (such as language, region, or login details) to provide enhanced, personalized features.

Targeting / Advertising Cookies – where used, help us and our partners deliver relevant content and advertising and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit the Site, you may be presented with a cookie consent banner that explains our use of cookies and allows you to make choices about the categories of cookies we use. Through our cookie preference management tool, you can elect your preferences–accepting all cookies, rejecting all non-essential cookies, or customizing your choices by category. You can revisit and change your selections at any time by clicking the “Cookie Preferences” (or “Cookie Settings”) link in the footer of the Site.

You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. Because your preferences are stored in a cookie on the device and browser you are using, you may need to set them again if you clear your cookies, use a different device, or switch browsers. Please note that without certain cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of all Site features.

Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals

Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, our Site does not currently respond to them. However, where required by applicable state law, we will honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms (such as the Global Privacy Control) for the sale/sharing of personal information or targeted advertising.

Web Beacons

Certain pages on our Site may contain “web beacons” (also known as internet tags, pixel tags, and clear GIFs). These web beacons allow third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of that page, the time the page was viewed, the type of browser used, and the information in cookies set by the third party.

IP Addresses

An IP address is an identifier that certain electronic devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the internet. When you visit our Site, we may view the IP address of the device you use to connect to the internet. We use this information to determine the general physical location of the device, to understand the geographic regions our visitors come from, and to enhance features our Site. We do not use IP addresses to track you.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. States that have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws include California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Tennessee, Iowa, Delaware, Indiana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Maryland, and others. Where applicable, you may have the right to:

Right to Appeal – appeal a denial of a privacy request, where required by law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the information below, or write to us at the address in the “How to Contact Us” section below. We will verify your identity before responding (and may require additional information for verification), and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent’s authority.

California “Shine the Light”

Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. As stated in this Policy, CGB does not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at legal@cgb.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
